About the Author
Anno Birkin was born on December 9th, 1980, the son of
photographer Bee Gilbert and the writer/film maker Andrew Birkin.
During his short life, Anno composed over 50 songs, a selection of which
have been released on a double CD, "Dreams of Waking" (also available from
Amazon) as well as over 700 poems. He was killed in a car crash in Italy on
November 8th, 2001.
Anno was the subject of a BBC Radio 4 documentary, which can be accessed
