It's breathable (unlike most cot bumpers), stops little hands & feet sticking out between the bars & even looks good! We have a crib rather than a cot so as it''s smaller we had to double the wrap over to get it to fit. So we emailed the manufacturers to check this would still make it breathable. They replied quickly saying yes, so this means we can use the wrap now & also when we upgrade size wise to a cot. Have already recommended it to friends!

I bought this as my son was practicing his rolling around and getting his little arms and legs stuck through the bars of the cot. One morning when he went down for his nap, he was crying a fair bit and when I went in to check, he was face down with one arm trapped behind him in the bars and straining his little neck up to get free, i felt sick because i'd heard that they can suffocate themselves straining their necks back like that. I didn't want to use normal padded cot bumpers because of the risks associated but this wrap does the job perfectly.
I ordered it on the Friday morning and by Tuesday afternoon it had been delivered all the way to Italy! I was very impressed.
We use a Mamas and Papas cotbed, with solid head and foot boards and this wrap fits very well. I only put it on last night and it seems to be nice and secure. You have to pull the wrap really tightly so it doesn't sag. I can see that it would slip below the mattress if there was a space there as it is very slim, but i actually pulled one side down to be level with the bottom of the mattress so I can still see my little one from my bed. It is still high enough to stop him sticking his arms and legs through. I think you could also pull it tight and weave the excess part through the bars to make it even more secure.
It is very well made and looks nice on the cot. It looks like a 'waffle' type of fabric. With all the safety issues these days, his bed did look a little bare and uninviting and the wrap adds a little bit of cosiness to it. I wish i'd bought one sooner!
