I'm suprised that this wasn't noticed the way I noticed it, after the initial hype a newspaper gave this I bought this on release day.

Very Enjoyable and about the only person to do a good job of emulating John Lennon in places without sounding like a tribute act. Highly recommended and a truly great album from start to finish...very memorable. I meant to review this years ago and only wish I had.

Any new material in the works???

Rock On!

Really good album that I recall was championed in the press at the time, but it's likely if you ever name drop Mankato people might assume you're into martial arts rather than a well produced west coast/lennonesque album of superior pop songs. That said, whilst occasionally derivative, the overall sound is definitely Mankato. It's not a "deep" album lyrically but it's not trite boy and rubbish either. Played again today & often revisit certain tracks, I often get a decent summer vibe from the tracks. Very listenable.
