Today particularly, it is important to know how to protect yourself and your family in a variety of situations. There are many steps you can take to minimise the risks and build up your defences.
From the Author
I wrote this book, because I believe in prevention being better than picking up the pieces after an attack.
After I caught the Alleyman rapist in the mid 80's, I realised that if people were more aware of their surroundings etc. then they would be in a much better position to prevent an attack.
I then started teaching self-defence and awareness, and realised just how many people had so little knowledge of how to stay safe, or the best ways of keeping their families safe in different situations.
I can only reach so many people in my classes but through my book I can pass on good safety advice to thousands. If these people then pass it on to their friends and families, then by my reckoning that's a lot of people I'm helping.
This is fantastic, and beyond my widest dreams.
But like I always say, if my book helps to save just one person it was worth all of the hard work.
