I mainly bought this CD because both the members of Hangry&Angry, Hitomi Yoshizawa and Rika Ishikawa, are former members of the idol group Morning Musume, which I adore.
Whilst they are completely manufactured - their only purpose being to promote a Harajuku clothing store of the same name - the songs on the CD are great. Yossie's deeper and more mature voice goes well with Rika's more girlish one.
The songs are really different in style to what the girls previously did with Momosu, having a much harder, rockier sound. Best tracks in my opinion are Angelia and Lady Madonna - and there's also a rock cover of Morning Musume's 12th single, "The Peace!", which hit number 1 in the Oricon charts when originally released in 2001, and is apparantly Rika's favourite single from her time in Momosu. It was quite a shock hearing this version first, as it's so different... and yet so awesome.
