Recording my albums took me on a journey that went far beyond my passion for the Landscape that inspired it. As a composer I have absorbed a great deal of inspiration from the natural landscape, particularly the isolated areas of Cornwall which are rich in legend and folklore.
About the Artist
Sue Aston graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire with Distinction (BA Hons), and has played professionally with such orchestras as The D'oyly Carte Opera Company, Orchestra da Camera, and The Corinthian Orchestra. She has worked with Simon Rattle, Nigel Kennedy, Peter Donohoe, Yehudi Menuhin, Sir Charles Groves, and Esa Pekka Salonen, Gordon Giltrap and Chris De Burgh.
