A breathtaking paranormal romance boxed set!

The award-winning Drowning Mermaids and three other full length novels are included in this bundle:

Book #1: Drowning Mermaids
Book #2: Fathoms of Forgiveness
Book #3: Boundless Sea
Book #4: Abyssal Zone

Drowning Mermaids

To escape the war in her underwater kingdom, the noble daughter of a murdered king must flee to Alaska. Doing all she can to keep her younger sisters safe, Aazuria tries to assimilate and work among the Americans, with her feisty red-haired bodyguard at her side. This refuge holds pleasant surprises, for the princess meets a somber gentleman in a dark corner who promises to show her his world.
Trevain Murphy is a successful crab fisherman who has spent his life building an empire above the sea, but knows nothing of the greater empire beneath the surface. When a graceful dancer captures his attention, he becomes fascinated with her.
As it becomes clear that the dark-haired woman is much more than she seems, Trevain is unprepared to uncover the staggering secrets behind her innocent facade. Neither the captain nor the princess can imagine that their lives will become forcibly entwined as a common enemy threatens both of their worlds...

Fathoms of Forgiveness

There is no divorce in the undersea kingdom of Adlivun. Marriage is a bond that lasts until death--even if death comes in several centuries, and in that time your spouse happens to become your sworn enemy. This is the conflict that General Visola Ramaris faces when she learns that the mighty Vachlan is behind the attacks on her kingdom. She has sworn to protect Adlivun with her life, but long ago, she also swore to love and honor her husband...

Princess Aazuria forbids Visola from taking matters into her own hands, but she cannot protect her friend from the evil grip of her former lover. Visola must choose whether she will destroy Vachlan once and for all, or attempt the hardest thing conceivable: communication. After two hundred years of desertion, she has no faith in their feeble bond and knows she can never forgive him. When he threatens the person dearest to her, she must take action. Confronting Vachlan on enemy territory will be nothing short of suicide, but she has no choice...

Boundless Sea

With Queen Aazuria missing, the undersea kingdom of Adlivun has been thrust into political unrest and turmoil. Elandria is expected to take over her sister's responsibilities, but she is overwhelmed with depression. The sea-dwellers are desperately in need of protection from the foreign submarine superpower known as The Clan of Zalcan. Although it is ancient tradition for the mermaids to conceal and protect their people from land-dwelling societies, they decide to finally reveal themselves to the American public and seek assistance.

After much political debate by the countries of the Pacific Rim, America and Russia have decided to help: on one condition. The mermaids must join APEC and contribute endless labor to the organization, helping to build and indefinitely maintain a massive trans-pacific highway tunnel which will link Alaska to the Chukotka Peninsula. This will allow land-traffic to travel between North America and Eurasia for the first time, changing the economy of the world forever.

Abyssal Zone

Aazuria Vellamo has returned to the undersea kingdom of Adlivun only to find that the place she called home for over five hundred years has changed drastically. Having been forsaken as dead several years ago, she finds her husband in the arms of another woman. Once the beloved rightful queen, Aazuria is now an outcast hiding among the commoners. She observes the political situation from a distance, trying to maneuver her daughter into the safest place possible-- but Aazuria quickly discovers that no part of the expanding nation is safe any longer...

4.0 out of 5 stars Stormy romances under the sea 23 Oct 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoyed these books. I did find that the relationship between Aazuria and Trevain happened too quickly but that's the norm with a lot of romance novels anyway so that's fair enough. The characters were interesting, the setting intriguing and the plot very interesting. My only real issue would be the speed with which certain characters fell in love or changed their perspectives but to be fair to Scrieva, she had a lot of balls in the air so that's easily forgiven. There are some really major twists that I won't talk about here but they helped to keep me rooted in the story.

I would seriously think about reading more of Scrieva's work, particularly if it features Adlivun because the underwater culture is truly fascinating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just gets better and better with each book 8 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
After so enjoying the first two Sacred Breath books of course I decided to pick up this box set. It's such fantastic value for money I feel almost bad about it. Four cracking books and the two I had not previously read certainly met my expectations. The continuity within the series whilst also bringing in completely new and fresh elements is really clever. There's nothing repetitive, the story is always forging on both within each book and overall through them all. So that by the fourth book with a bit more politics and intrigue it all seems perfectly natural.

The characters, old and new, are all wonderful. Always such strong female characters, our heroines and their family and friends. Not always on their best behaviour but still well written and realistic as people. And the men that love them, because of course they do. Aazuria just gets better and better with each book and the readers get more and more invested in her fate and of the whole kingdom and everything else that depends on her. Visola gives her stiff competition for my favourite character but that's how good these books are, you're spoiled for choice.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books of the genre 28 Mar 2014
By Meghan - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
I’m always delighted when authors go out of their way to please their readers. That’s why when I saw Nadia Scrieva’s ‘Sacred Breath’ boxed set, I bought it right away—you get four books for a highly discounted price, for crying out loud!

Anyone who has read any of the books in the ‘Sacred Breath’ series knows what a deeply entertaining series this is. From the first book (‘Drowning Mermaids’) to the fourth (‘Abyssal Zone’), you won’t be able to put your e-reader or computer tablet down. Each book in this series is utterly fascinating. I love how author Nadia Scrieva has vividly painted a fantasy world and breathed life into it. I also love how she has taken the whole thing and set it in the modern world—you can easily relate with Trevain Murphy and deeply empathize with the “lost princess” so much that you simply keep turning the digital pages just to know what happens next.

Author Nadia Scrieva has the intricacies of the genre down pat—she has that masterful flourish, that seasoned author’s instinct of what works and how to push all the reader’s buttons. Sure, there are fantasy tales, but Nadia infuses the stories with more than enough verisimilitude and succeeds in making them emotionally resonate with the reader that you will actually care about what happens with the underwater kingdom or actually recognize our real world’s corruption in the political turmoil that saddles Adlivun.

Overall, this is a breathtaking set of tales in a delightful package—‘Sacred Breath’ the digital boxed set is a must-have, so get it today. It’s also an awesome gift to friends or loved ones who are into the fantasy genre. Five stars for this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Passion, suspense and more- this series has it all 24 Mar 2014

I really like series as then you can just continue on with the story. Better yet, I like boxed sets as you don’t have to pause to buy the next book.

The Sacred Breath series was an excellent value price wise. Content wise I found it to be much better than the average romance and well worth reading.

Regarding the mermaids- well, this isn’t a sunshine, rainbows and fairy dust read. There are mermaids and they are delightfully crafted with a wicked good twist from what one usually thinks when hearing the word “mermaid”.

I liked Aazuria almost immediately. To the average human she appears to be eighteen years of age in actuality she is six hundred plus. She is quite astute and has the ability to see below the surface and social veneer of humans. She interacts well with her sisters and there were times I had to laugh as I read some of the banter.

Aazuria’s daughter Varia is also very well crafted and you get the sense of an ethereal presence when thinking of her. Aazuria, to me, radiated more of a royalty presence. Both were good and I liked how the author made their similarities and differences stand out.

There are serious moments also and more than a few times you get the vibe that something is brewing beneath the surface.

When Aazuria is captured I could feel the claustrophobia I think she may have felt being cooped up and dependent upon Hamnil for the smallest needs.

Varia’s birth was one of those moments I will not forget for a long time. No spoilers but the author captures the intense emotion of the event extremely well.

There are some other intense moments (some involving Aazuria and some not). I can see why the author created these moments as they give us a glimpse of the characters involved and things we may not have seen about them otherwise.

There’s so much more I’d like to add but for the sake of time, I’ll just say this-
I didn’t want this series to end and had there only been one book I would have been thoroughly dismayed. Fortunately there were four and I hope the author continues the saga.

Beautiful mix of romance, fantasy and drama all mixed together. Quality read and I highly recommend this set.

3.0 out of 5 stars If you like Game of Thrones... 13 April 2014

... you will love this book! I enjoyed the story and found the plot twists riveting. However, fair warning! There are some seriously hardcore fantasy elements, including intense, graphic warfare and loads of violence. The main characters go through some trials that are NOT for the weak of heart. Sometimes I had to put the book down and take a breather, but I was unable to pause for very long because the story kept egging me on and I needed to know what happened next.

If you like danger and dark, often twisted drama with physical and emotional torture, abduction, death and even dismemberment-- then this will be right up your alley. There is always a point to the suffering, and a worthwhile payoff at the end.

It's just a bit warped for me. My heart aches for the characters and what they go through. I will continue to Book #5 because the story is so gripping that I just can't stop. If you like a book that rips your heart out and makes you FEEL, then try this epic series. Otherwise, beware.

I can't even begin to explain what I went through with these characters! One secret after another unfolded and shocked me! I have a huge love for them all as well as some frustrations but I absolutely love how the author really outdid herself with the plots, I read all four books in 4 days!! That is how interesting the story is!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nadia Scrieva is the Mistress of Romance! 9 April 2014

Nadia Scrieva is the Mistress of Romance!

I bought the first book in the series and became engulfed in this amazing story of epic and masterful proportion. “The Sacred Breath,” series is by far one of the best that I have had the chance to read in a very long time. It has everything you can want and look for in a quality novel that will certainly stand the test of time: Action, Adventure, Romance, Fantasy and even Humor all collide in a sweeping fashion that will simply take your breath away.

I was so excited after reading this series that I had to tell everyone in my family and made them purchase it when it went on promotion. If you have not had a chance to buy this series, do so today and I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

As with the first book, the others in the series are well written and flow perfectly as they go back and forth between timelines. As an Author myself I can tell you that this is not an easy task to accomplish. These books are so descriptive that they will take you away and captivate the imagination well after you are done reading!

In short I have become a fan of Nadia Scrieva and cannot wait to see what she comes up with next. 5 Stars and wish there was a higher rating I could offer.
