5.0 out of 5 stars First in a long line of books, Very good. 26 Aug 2001
Format:Mass Market Paperback
As being the first in a long line of books in the series, it should be exciting but clever to catch the readers eye so that they can carry on reading the series. This book has exactly that and is very good. The introduction, explaining everything first, is unusual but is an excellent way to start. One to read over and over again.

Sabrina has just been told she is a witch. She can't really believe it. She has also just started a new school and she really likes Harvey but there is a problem. So does Libby and Harvey always says yes to her.Sabrina meets Jenny and they pal around with each other. But her first day goes really badly so she goes to the witches council to ask for a time reversal. These can only be giving if there is a really good reason. You will have to read the book if you want to find out if Sabrina gets a time reversal and if she gets a date with Harvey.

I really enjoyed reading this book I really thought it was the best book I have read in the Sabrina series. I have 22 Sabrina books and out of all the ones I have read so far(10) I think this one is the best. I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 9. Sabrina awakes on her 16th birthday to find herself levatating above her bed her aunts Zelda and Hilda tell her she is now a half witch. Sabrina has to learn how to use her powers and Libby Chestler is her first victim.

The beginning. Its her 16th birthday Sabrina finds out that shes a witch. But the only thing shes learnt is how to turn something into a pineapple. So when Libby is nasty to her and gone just to far she becomes a pineapple. But with her aunts help she is reversed again. But its too late. Her reputation as a freak at the new school has been established. She goes to the other realm counsel to plead for time to be reversed so she can start the day again. DENIED. But Aunt Hilda, Drells (the head counsellor)old girlfriend goes to pay him a little visit. That sure sorted him out. Excellent first book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really only for first timers and collectors 25 Oct 1997
By A Customer - Published on
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This a great book but the story is only from three episodes from the TV series, not that there is anything wrong with that of course but if you've seen these three particular episodes you really already know what the book is going to be like. If you're like me and collect the series of Sabrina books, well you would get the book anyway. Unfortunately I can say ( and you're hearing this from the expert himself ) that this first book in the Sabrina series is not as good as the second or third, or any other book for that matter to do with Sabrina. I did like the book don't get me wrong, it's just that, well, it's nothing new, you've already seen the television series so there's zero to look forward to. With the rest of the series it was a new story line thats never been seen OR heard of for that matter. Another stupid thing to do was to just throw in any old episode without even thinking about it. They chose the Pilot episode, which was understandable, The True Adventures of Rudi Kazootie and Dream Date. These last two episodes were not THE most popular episodes . If they'd even just took five minutes to think about it I'm sure they would have come up with better episodes. I quite liked the book but I don't know if you will.

But on the first day of school, strange things start happening just from Sabrina's finger. She then finds the guy of her dreams, Harvey, and a evil enemy, Libby, and an incredible new friend, Jenny.
