This book is an updated version of the 2006 edition which sold out. I didnt buy the '06 book, but this new edition has over 300 photos and provides an interesting views of the pre- and post closure of the S&D railway. Hardback book, good quality format etc. Rail and non rail fans will enjoy.

This is the second in the series of books by the author on just before and after views of the lost line that was the Somerset and Dorset. I cant recommend this volume highly enough. I have great pictures and an informative text. this book bring home the stark reality of railway closures and the sometimes hast in which they were ripped up, so sad.
