This little compost crock really is great. It also came with 4 free filters for the lid which on their own retail at over £5. As others have mentioned, the handles are not great and I would not suggest anyone carry the pot with the handles, they are likely to fall off resulting in the pot smashing on the floor. It holds a lot of compostable waste and the filters definitely stop the smell coming out. The lid doesn't have a seal but it doesn't seem to let any smells out either.

This compost crock is perfect for sitting on the counter top to pop scraps and peelings into as you cook. It looks good, doesn't smell and since it's ceramic won't rust.
There are one or two fruit flies hanging around, and it is November so this may become more of a problem in the summer but I think it probably just needs a cloth over the top or something to stop them getting in through the holes in the kid. You will never get away from the fact that flies are attracted to decomposing veg.
All in all I'm very pleased with it.

This product was much cheaper than anywhere else unfortunately it came with a wonky lid. Still use it and it does a good job.

Good product, but it only takes small quantities. Odours eliminated but take care when handing, as it does get slippery.
