Instructions

Please be aware that the instructions for this unit need to be followed precisely and the unit, when setting is complete, does not display any lights. It only activates when a sound is detected (snoring). Importantly, the intensity setting must be adjusted whilst the green power light is flashing. Once the desired intensity has been reached the power button is pressed to confirm. All lights on the unit go out and the Snore Stopper is armed and ready for use. Please read the instructions enclosed with the Snore Stopper for further details.

    I've been married for 24 years and my snoring has got worse rather than better. My wife has been sleeping badly as a result and I have tried nasal strips (which had no effect on me), mandibular advancement (which is a treatment involving a dentist and a double gum-shield like device which moves the jaw forward and costs an arm and a leg) and still I sound like someone has smuggled a motorbike into the bedroom. I was thinking about laser surgery which would set me back a serious amount of cash when I came across this product.

    I was sceptical to say the least but, getting desparate, I decided to give it a go and that was that. When it came I wasn't filled with confidence by the packaging or the appearance of the item and so put it to one side for a few days. After a particularly bad night my wife persuaded me to try it and that night she had a good night's sleep for the first time in ages, followed by many more.

    The first thing to note is that it doesn't prevent snoring - it 'hears' it and provids a low level electric shock to encourage a change of posture. The next thing is that the lithium battery is only good for a weeks worth of use by a heavy snorer (at least that's my experience).

    The electric shock is not as dramatic as it sounds. It's enough to give a tingle on the skin and can be adjusted up or down to a comfortable level.

    If this one wears out anytime soon I will get another. For the price it is worth it for a peaceful day after my wife's peaceful night.

    Maybe mine was faulty but it didn't respond to my snoring at all. In testing, I could get it to shock occasionally by blowing a loud raspberry at it, but not in any consistent or reliable way, and certainly not by grunting, snorting and snoring at it.

    This did not make the slightest difference at all.
    Its dead easy to use and the instructions are clear and concise and it looks the business with green pulsing light on and the charge delivered to move you around if it 'hears' your snoring racked up to the max.
    Tried this over the last three weeks, even on a diving trip, where we shared rooms, and the feedback from every one 'did not make the slightest difference'
    If I could ask for my money back I would
