Bought this for my mum for Christmas and she loves it. Has a photo of my kids in the front and says she uses it every day. Hard to come by now but for some one who wants one, this is good quality.

My son gave me one for Christmas 2005. The teamaking is good, but the alarm doesn't sound. The manufacturers have failed to respond to respond to enquiries about this. The light is rather too bright for comfort, it would be good if it could be turned off overnight. Rocker switches are fiddly to use. The rotary switches on the older models were easier to operate.

The orange unalterable light is too bright - the very low-level softly luminous clock was much better, and I miss a proper light turning on while the tea is being made. I also miss the buzzer as I can sleep through the tea-making process! Don't like the side entry for the teapot - the front was much easier to manage. You can't alter the clock/alarm as easily as when the controls were at the front. All that apart, I wouldn't be without one!
