The perfect ending to the perfect story!, 13 Aug 2009
This is the story of three women with very different personalities.
Aishling is delighted when she gets a new job on a new magazine called Colleen. Shes had a difficult life, the story tells us how her mothers depression has affected her own life and personality. She is the main character in the book and very likable. We hear about the men in her life... mainly Marcus. Yuck.
Lisa is looking forward to a big promotion, but almost falls to pieces when she realises that she's been sent from London to work in Dublin as Editor in Chief of Colleen. She's an interesting character and you find yourself hoping things work out for her as she tries to cope with a divorce from Oliver.
Then Clodagh, the most unlikable of the three, she seems to have the perfect life. She's also Ashling's best friends. Married with two kids and the perfect husband. Only problem is she's bored senseless and doesn't care who she hurts for a bit of excitement.
I really enjoy Keyes books, they are a real pick me up. Her sense of humour shines through and you cant help but laugh out loud.
