I read the product reviews and was concerned about the apparent confusion over which phone this is designed for. I think Sony might be partly to blame for not giving the NEW XPERIA S a distinct name. This case is for the new XPERIA S as shown in the picture. I bought this case because I wanted to protect my purchase ASAP giving me breathing space to look around for alternative options. The case fits very well and gives all round protection tot he phone including the screen. It is a gel case and as such it adds bulk to the phone. It tries hard not to spoil the eligant design of the Sony, but in a similar way to a puffa jacket worn by a fashion model, you know it looks great under the jacket. My only negative is (coupled with my only negative for the phone)the charging port cover is difficult to get open, especially if you bite your nails! That is a phone issue, not the cover.

This thing's a joke. Doesn't fit the phone, do not buy it, waste of money... I am disappointed because it had really good reviews, but it seems that those reviews were for the Arc S... It won't close correctly around the phone, and you can't reach the volume and camera buttons correctly neither...

I did not receive a screen protector or a polishing cloth as part of my package. The gel case fits okay but is a touch loose at the sides. This may be improved by a screen protector which would make the phone slightly bigger and may therefore provide a more snug fit but who can say! Regardless of the quality of the product, some might say "you get what you pay for" when talking about how well it fits, in this instance I didn't get what I payed for as advertised. The most simple part of this transaction should be the company being able to put all components in an envelope! If this basic element of the process can't be achieved all of the time then I'd suggest using another retailer. Generally not impressed!

What's not to like?
