Industrial Strength elastic on waistband - Not Good
on 26 September 2013
These look and feel like good quality underwear and I was initially very impressed as it's pretty hard these days to find undercarriage tenting which is comfortable and good quality... but the manufacturer has used what appears to be super strength elastic on the waistband that is also far too wide to be comfortable with it curling over itself all the time when you move around. The waist elastic is so strong and tight that I had to take them off and return to wearing a cheapo pair of Tesco duds to get the feeling back in my legs and help my sprouts get over the shock... half way through the day. I ordered XXL to make sure they would be easy on the waistline and comfortable as most manufacturers of underwear seem to think we all want to look like some dude out of an Armani advert skipping along a beach with the tide coming in sporting shrink wrap pants...which is a nice idea and helps the self esteem... but these are ridiculous! I'm sure that with a better choice of elastic waistband then these would rank as one of the best priced long leg undies on the market... but as long as they're using catapult strength elastic to hold them up then I'm afraid they rank as pretty poor. Would I buy another pair? No! If the manufacturers read this and do decide to make a sensible change to their design then please let me know I'd happily give them another try...until then they need a health warning adding my plumbs thought I'd been captured by a tribe of head shrinking cannibals!
