Product Description

Suck UK's Cat Scratching DJ Deck - a fun alternative toy, as part of the cat Playhouse series

Never let it be said that Suck UK don't dabble in science. In the name of completely misunderstanding Schrodinger's work, we introduce the newest cat box combination, the DJ scratching mat!

Cats scratch furniture to mark their territory, exercise their muscles and just for sheer pleasure, so why not mix that natural instanct with a bit of fun?!

The Cat DJ Scratching Deck comes flat packed and folds together into a simple structure with posable tone arm and a top that spins as your cat paws it - meaning you can sit back and giggle in a "look the cat is doing human things!" way, rather than watch in horror as they shred your favourite sofa in to tiny pieces...

Comes with full instructions for easy assembly, the DJ Scratching Deck is a fun addition to any cat loving household!

I am officially bad with money. My girlfriend says I'm an impulse buyer who should not be let loose on Amazon. I begged to differ, picking up useful products such as a hoover, clothes, electrical equipment and home decor. I almost had her convinced until I saw "Cat Scratching decks". We now have an ugly, naff looking DJ themed cardboard box sitting in the hallway that has never been touched by the cat. It's not like a cat can really get hold of the thing. It's at completely the wrong angle for a cat to scratch and even if this 3kg feline were to even recognise this as scratch-able she would find herself moving it around our hardwood floor. I think if Tic Tac used it, I would still be disappointed, it's not like I'm going to get a great show.

It's a fancy cardboard box with "cat dj" written on it. And now I must crawl away to my impulse bought man cave with my tail between my legs wondering why I spent that much money on putting something in recycling.

There are no phono cables for plugging this into a mixer or a standard amp, not even a quarter inch jack! On the upside at least the drive motor is not too strong as when my cat sat on the proper 1210 and stood on the play button she was thrown off.

I'd still suggest some cheap slipmats and some catnip spray

My cat soon got used to it and now plays in the top league of international DJs and makes thousands of pounds every year!

Cats like sleeping on top of the turn table but so far haven't used it for scratching so not a complete waste of money

This product was quite expensive for what it is. It doesn't hold together very well. We were a bit disappointed as it looked good in the pic

I was extremely disappointed with this item. I expected the turntable part to contain the normal rope scratch part and certainly not cardboard! My cats simply do not bother with the item at all and find the packaging much more interesting. With a length of string inside the box, they play in it every day. Furthermore the cost when the shipping is added is ludicrous. In my opinion this item is only worth a few pounds, including shipping. I also note 3 items of VAT was added. Unacceptable, sorry

I bought this as a gimmic for my cats to play with and destroy, but despite resorting to sprinkling cat nip on it, none of them would play with it, so after I had "shown them what to do" several times and they had walked off with their tails in the air, I eventually took it to the Cats protection charity shop.
