I bought this after getting very good results from a tiny 50cm sliver reflector I got as part of a kit. I'm rather regretting it now - this 33" silver reflector is to my mind too shiny, meaning that, instead of spreading the light from my flashes to create a soft effect (as the 50cm reflector did) the light is concentrated in a rather harsh way. The upshot is, the light from this 33" reflector doesn't really look very diffused... it's more like the results from a direct handheld flash with a bit of tracing paper over the head. You certainly can't use it for lighting anything bigger than a chessboard without getting hot-spots.
If you want that kind of effect, great, but if you want soft lighting, go for a white diffuser. I should have.

this umbrella is not a diffuser and dose not match the picture, it is just a standard poor quality sliver refector

Cheap and simple

off camera flash umbrella
this is a well made umbrella and it is priced very keen i would recommend it, I bought 4 white and 4 silver and i am very happy with all delivered very fast to me in ireland

mediocre reflector
As others have said, this is not a diffuser - just a reflector.

Cheap and decent for it's price
Good umbrella in it's range. It is not very firm though, the wind blown it down and the main stick broke while hitting the ground, but it is OK otherwise, just keep it safe.
