I had a steam mop and it broke after just a year, I was going to get another mop but a friend had a steam cleaner and raved about it. I borrowed it, tried it out and steam cleaned the tiles in the shower, kitchen and steam cleaned the loo. What a difference!
The model my friend had was no longer in stock so I went for this cleaner. I read the previous reviews and some people said that when they steam mopped their floors they were still quite wet. Having previously had a steam mop, I found the floors dried quickly and were only damp, with this steam cleaner they are wet, they do take a while to dry and I read a review where a lady said once she mopped her floors she often had to dry them with a towel, this is true, I dried mine with a towel as well.
I've used it to clean the oven, and it did an okay job - I still had to get some cleaner on it and get rubbing, to get it clean.
Its easy to use, the attachments are easy to change and its easy to fill.
Now that I am use to it, I do quite like it, but recommend when mopping floors not to use the towel provided and use a dish towel and the floors will be a little drier. Its a good all rounder for the money.
