The rest of the reviews spell out the ups and downs of this product quite nicely - including one or two people who have had steam come out of their handles.
I had this problem - steam suddenly coming from the handle - but almost immediately after using the 'contact seller' option on Amazon, I received a reply from the seller asking me to contact them by telephone. I did so and the gentleman I spoke to was very courteous and helpful. He referred me to a colleague who was on lunch and would call me back. Within twenty minutes I had another phone call from another very helpful man who, together with an engineer, pointed out the problem to me and advised me how to fix it myself without having to return it, which was a very simple procedure for actually a very simple issue - one of the small hoses inside the trigger mechanism had worked loose and just needed to be placed back on it's housing together with the included spring grip, which had come off. I had simply tugged the hose too hard! It took about five minutes to unscew the handle, replace all the bits and screw it back together again.
So the one-star review on here seems unfair. The steam coming out of the handle is easily fixed and you just need to remember not to yank on the hose too hard. I received the full-force of the steam and, honestly, it hardly hurt my hand at all, so maybe wear some rubber gloves if you're concerned about it happening but I won't bother. The product may not be the market leader, but look at the price! It does what it advertises and it does it fairly well. Waiting times for pressurisation could be better, but then you're not paying £100+ so it is to be expected. It gives a good clean and is far, far, far faster than cleaning by hand.
Main point of my review, though, is how good customer service was. They know their stuff and were polite, helpful and quick to respond.
