3.0 out of 5 stars I'm not too sure this really works. 6 Aug 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I like the idea of introducing children to interesting information like the planets. I'm not too sure this really works. The pictures and rhyme are appropriate for very young children but I feel the content is not quite right. The rhyme doesn't read easily and I don't think it would hold a young child's interest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful story with exciting illustrations! 4 Aug 2013

This book is just too adorable for words! The artwork is flawless, and the story is not only fun, but also educational! I'm confident that my niece will enjoy it as much as I did when I read it to her tomorrow. I definitely hope there will be further installments about Star's adventures, as I see many in the future of that character. Definitely a recommended purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! A great book for your budding astronomer that will grow with them. 3 Aug 2013

A fantastic book for kids that has hidden gems and value far beyond being a one time read. Great for babies as a rhyming book to read to them, and as they learn to read themselves it has an easy to memorize story that will teach them about the solar system. Budding astronomers will list this is as their favorite first children's book ever!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book 4 Aug 2013
By Cynthia - Published on Amazon.com

I loved this book! The rhyming story is about a little girl in a spaceship visiting each of the planets before going to sleep. It would be a great "before bedtime" story for a little one, with just the right length- long enough to send a child on his way to dreamland, but not so long that Mom or Dad get tired of reading. Also, some facts about the planets are woven in and might be a good springboard for a science discussion with an older child.

But what I most appreciate are the colourful, creative illustrations, just beautiful and sure to stimulate anyone`s imagination. I`m going to look for a hard copy of STAR to share with my grandchildren.

What a delightful book for your little ones! I would rate this book very high to its content, and colorful illustrations. The story takes you through a part of our solar system with rhyming information about each planet Star sails by. The illustrator has made this book entertaining with vivid colors in our spacious universe. Go get it! You'll be glad you did!

I love how colorful the pictures are! And the story line is wonderful as well. I think that most children will be kept entertained with it for many, many reads. The book would make a great gift for any child at any age. This certainly is a Must-Read! Can't wait to read further adventures that Star will have!
