I love it, never had a cinema system before, but with this and my ps3 running through it, its really great. Unless you have a ridiculous size lounge this will be plenty loud enough. I have my dj decks runing through it also, and its brilliant sound quality and very loud. Sub has volume control on back and at just slightly over half way, really rumbles the place(espeshallly blu ray movies). You wont regret buying it.

Have been looking at this system for some time now and finally relented and bought it. Have to say that the performance of the unit has totally exceded all my expectations. However, as a downside to it, the sub-woofer needs to be powered directly, but the whole package only comes with one 2-pin adapting plug (Like a lot of other Sony products). Basically, had I not had a 'spare' plug to accommodate this unit, I'd have had a 5.1 system with absolutely no bass at all to it. A massive oversight in my view, but once sorted, the set up and use is genuinely simple. Would certainly recommend this, given the number of HDMI inputs, it's virtually future-proof!SONY HT-DDWG800 Home Cinema System 5.1 system, HDMI
