SONOLINE B Handheld Pocket Fetal Doppler provides a simple, easy-to-use ultrasonic Doppler that allows expectant mothers and health care professionals to retrieve fetal heart rate (FHR) and listen to the sound of the heart beat. It can be used in hospital, clinic and home for daily self-check by pregnant woman. This fetal doppler is a high performance model with FHR LCD digital display which provides three modes: real-time FHR display mode, averaged FHR display mode and manual mode that allows the user to view a fetal heart rate for 8 heart beat period.
This fetal Doppler gives you peace of mind and comfort. It is suitable for use after the 12th week of pregnancy. Equipped with a headphone socket and a built-in loudspeaker, SONOLINE B Handheld Pocket Fetal Doppler also includes a water resistant 3MHz probe to get better sounds of fetal heart beat. It proves that in some special cases, 2 MHz works better such as on very overweight mothers when the fetus lies very deep.

This product is worth it's weight in gold. We tried for ages for a baby and the wife is a bit of a worrier so when ever she feels a twinge or gets upset she can sit down and listen to the baby beating away. We bought the doppler at 8 weeks and first heard the heat beat at 9 weeks and 4 days (behind the pubic bone)and you would pay money every time just for that sound. We are now at 20 weeks and you can actually hear the baby moving around !!! Honestly I know I sound like a salesman but this is one of the best toys I ever bought. (ranks up there with my big telly)

I faffed about for ages before settling on this doppler which I chose mainly because of the 3 Mhz probe and because of the heart beat rate display. I have not been disappointed! In theory these don't work until 12 weeks but I am only 11 weeks and it picked up my babies heartbeats with ease (I'm expecting triplets!). I think the price is extremely reasonable considering the cost of private scans, now I can check my bubs are okay whenever I like from the comfort of my sofa.
Having now used it I am so pleased I went for one with a display, the cheaper ones without can pick up your own heartbeat but as this one tells you the rate you can check that it's not your own you are listening to (yours is slower).
The display is back lit so nice and bright and easy to read and the built in speaker is plenty loud enough and has a volume control.

I bought this product as I did a little research on you tube and it does seem to be a favourite.
I am 12wks pregnant and have never had a doppler before and as my last pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage I wanted one for reassurance and omg, I was amazed with this product.
I took it out of the box, put in 2xAA batteries applied a little gel (supplied with the doppler) and within a minute or two I found my baby's heartbeat. This product is addictive, I cant stop using it, I will show anyone who will listen.

Worth it for the peace of mind
We went for this one as it looked the most like the one my midwife uses. Plus it has a 3mhz probe as opposed to 2mhz so hopped it would have most chance of working. Read more

100% disappointed

Worth it
