Displays up to 4,096 colours with a simultaneous display of 146 colours. Enjoy portable gaming with more magnificent and vivid images. Approximately 40 hours of continuous play is made possible with two AA batteries and a lithium battery. NEOGEO Pocket Color is equipped with SNK's custom made reflecting TFT-format LCD. With its 45mm x 48mm dimensions, it's bigger and easier to see. Enjoy cartridges for the NEOGEO Pocket in simulated colour. Software for the colour model can also be used for the NEOGEO Pocket (images will be displayed in black and white). The popular Revolving Joystick is a must for manoeuvrability in action games and the like. It also comes with "Calendar", "International Clock", "Alarm Function" and "Horoscope" functions which can be used with the main unit only. A "Pocket Menu" is built-in too! Because the battery back-up function and Clock function are built into the main unit, enjoy simulation games which use the passage of time. Accessories can be used for both the monochrome model and the NEOGEO Pocket Color.

The Neo Geo is one of those special items that are amazing but somehow never got the popularity it deserved, a great handheld console with amazing games such as:
-Metal slug
-sonic pocket adventure
-King of Fighters
-and no awful pokemon games!

Looks 4/5
No matter what colour you buy, the neo geo's are all a beautiful to look at and admire, i cant fault them apart from them being a little bulky (only a tiny bit more than a Gameboy colour) but you can still easily fit them in your hands with comfort.

Graphics 4/5
While not up to the standard of the Gameboy Advance the graphics are still amazing, better than a gameboy colours in my opinion, again a pleasure to play with.

Sound 4/5
Ok so the sounds not like on your radio, but you cant expect it to be, the sound on the NGPC is not only clearer than the gameboy colours sound its louder.

Games 5/5
Ok they are not producing any more NGPC games but so what? the games already produced are amazing and to an extremely high standard of game play, sound, graphics and everything else.

Other 5/5
When you turn on your NGPC without a game you may expect nothing to happen just like a gameboy but you would be very wrong. The NGPC has an inbuilt horoscope, world time, alarm and a setting to choose a colour for black and white games!

Controls 5/5
With the Neo Geo pocket colour there is no Direction pad nonsense which can often be hard to control, there is a little thumb joystick which makes moving on the games much easier and precise!

Battery life 5/5
The two dry AA batteries in the neo geo last for an amazing 40 hours and the lithium battery lasts an astonishing year! Much longer than its Gameboy counterpart.

Overall 5/5
A wise purchase, the best handheld console out there in my opinion, Great games, great graphics, and amazing Quality, if you haven't purchased one yet, I urge you to hurry up and buy one as they are becoming harder to find every day.
