This item looks very cheap from the image but its not in any way. Its very tough and sturdy so can be shaped and bended. the tube is quite solid and pulls out to a nice length. Its not soft so will not collaps on any little pets inside it. The main thing for me was that it does not have any wire in it so if destroyed it can not hurt your pet. The picture does not do it justice at all and is a wondefull addition to the toys for my ferrets.

This is such a great buy for rodents bigger than a fancy mouse or dwarf hamster. This is only because they try to climb over it as well as through it. Getting up onto it was a struggle but it would have been better if they couldn't because they can't get down again safely. Unless your hand is there to help of course, but with more than one to keep an eye on in the play pen, not possible for me. My son now uses it like a posable robot arm. He seems to love the sound of it clicking open and closed between lengths. (I however am being driven made by it! lol) All in all though it is worth the money and plently of fun for Rats I'm sure.

Hamster tube - not what I expected
The plus side is that this tube compresses to a small size and yet extends to a considerable length and can bend in any direction. It is also quite cheap. Read more

Wasn't a success
We put this tunnel in the gerbils' cage to give them something to play in but after a couple of days we had to take it out and throw it away because the gerbils were chewing it. Read more

Amaizing
