This is a really good set of stories, highly recommended for horror fans. The ideas are very interesting and I enjoyed this collection very much. Also available are the collections STAB and SEVER which I also recommend. Well written, unique and exciting short stories. I will be looking out for more by this author.

Good Collection of Stories 14 Aug 2010
By Lauralynn Elliott - Published on Amazon.com

This is the second collection of short stories I've read by this author. Again, I love the writing style, but have trouble really getting into short stories. There is a character that appears in several of these short stories, both from Sever and Slice. I would really like to see a full length book, or at least a novella, based on this character. I wonder if such a book is in the works....
Short and to the point 5 Feb 2012

Most of these stories are very short. The author seems to have an obsession with a man from the bible as around three of the stories uses this character. A couple of the stories have a rather predictable ending but still aren't all that bad.

When stories are this short I'd rather have many more of them to keep reading. Unfortunately I was done with the whole thing much too quickly. One of the stories left you to guess at exactly what happened to the killer with the knife. Sometimes authors forget that what is clear in their head may not be clear in ours and making a story a bit longer could keep that from happening.
