We went throught weeks.. and weeks.. and weeks.. of broken nights due to my previously great little sleeper reaching the phase of throwing her dummie out of her cot.. sometimes up to 30!!! times a night :o(..As you can imagine my husband and i were at our wits end..
( we were due another baby in about 9 weeks when our nights were as broken as this and we had to do something constructive and quick.. i could not envisage the idea that as well as a newborns nightfeeds to contend with but we were also going to be up practically the whole night looking for a dummy.. i was near to tears )
There was nothing wrong with our little one..she just couldn't find the dummie due to excocet missile launches from her cot.. lots of grappling about in the night on all fours hunting the floor in the dark.. I trawled the internet looking for an item to combat the holy terror dummie launches and came accross the sleepytot baby comforter.. I bought 2 lol,, and have not looked back.. 1st night we were up only twice!! we were ecstatic.. 2nd night not a peep out of her..we were practically dancing in front of her cot of a morning.. what a difference a bit of sleep makes.. if she wakens and finds the rabbit then she knows that she'll find her dummie and thats it.. simple as that..
Whats great about this little rabbit is the fact that all 4 hands are velcroed.. so up to 4 dummies can be attached should you wish.. we started off with 4 on there.. ( no chance of her not finding one to pop in her mouth whilst in dreamstate :o) ) we'r now down to two.. we'll drop to one in another couple of months and when its finally time to say bye bye dummie then she will still have the pleasure and security of her bunny.. ( whom is known to our little one as "her baby".. how she loves this little bun.. its heartwarming and we'v also got her happy without it during the day.. so when she is given "baby" come bed time.. she knows its time for the big sleepy.. she's so keen to see him of an eve she practically takes the stairs two at a time.. ( and she's only just started walking lol )
The instructions say to surface wipe only.. but i plonk mine in the washing machine and the tumble dryer with no problems.. ok, over time he's not quite so full as he once was but he does his job perfectly and i wouldn't be without him lol
All in all i cannot reccommend this item highly enough.. he'll be a firm favourite for years to come.. i tell anyone i come to know with a little one who has a dummie how fab he is.. many of my friends and relatives little ones all have their own bunny "baby" .. he's brill!
Great value for money little bunny who will give your little one hours of love and security as well as those all important dummies in the dark.. and what about us mums and dads.. well what price can you put on sleep? yep .. he's worth his weight in gold..
kind regards Ang' x
