Assemble your creation, place it on the PowerLab, then flip the switch and bring it to life.

Though the PowerLab comes with bones for building a T-Rex, parts from any other Skeleflex set can be added to the motorized core and activated when attached to the lab.

Small and medium sets (which do not include a lab) come in bone or skull-shaped storage cases. Each set contains pieces coloured to match its case. If you and your friends combine your sets to make one massive monster, when playtime is over simply collect the pieces that are the same unique colour as your case. This eliminates disagreements about who owns which bones.

Construct exact replicas of creatures featured in your Skeleflex design guide, or create your own make-believe models. Build predators with dropping jaws and flapping wings, or assemble aliens with wavering tentacles and swaying spines. Make a multi-headed, moving martian-asaurus, or follow step-by-step instructions for a more recognizable masterpiece. No matter how tame or outrageous the vision is, it can be built and brought to life.

Skeleflex Dinosaur PowerLab ball-and-socket building system with bone-shaped pieces and flexible joints that attach to a motorized core. Comes with bones and joints to build a T-Rex, also includes a design guide with instructions for making multiple models.

The Skeleflex range includes the Powerflex Lab (large set with T-Rex and motorized base); Small sets (in bone cases, 4 Dinosaurs and 4 Aliens available) and Medium sets (in skull cases, 2 Dinosaur and 2 Aliens available).

I left this toy in my Year 6 classroom during wet play - unsure what to expect. however, they were far from impressed with it, and reluctantl awarded it two stars.

They felt that there were far too many instructions in the box, and that there was far too little variety and imaginative play involved. Once they had built the one dinosaur (which wasn't as easy as they had imagined) there wasn't much left to do with it!

I fear that this is one activity that will remain in the box much of the time. A waste of batteries!

I agree with the above review. My son asked for this for Xmas, and his Grandad bought it for him. Once it was built and attached to the motorised section it was immediately apparent that it doesn't do a great deal. I also found that the gyration of the dinosaur's neck makes the connection come loose and it stops the damn thing from working!! Feel very disappointed with this purchase :(

I bought this for my 7 year old son. He quite enjoyed building it as the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces snap together easily, however it is probably more fun as a hand held dinosaur skeleton than the life like motorised dinosaur that is advertised. As it is fixed in position the legs don't move so it can't walk, it merely swings from side to side and while it is fun for a few minutes he soon got bored and I expect it will spend much of it's time in the back of a cupboard. The money would have been better spent buying a non motorised version or just a plastic dinosaur as it would be more durable.
