Sigg bottles quite often get a bad press for things like easy denting and leaving a soured taste after having anything other than water in them. However, they are the best aluminium bottles you can buy.
Firstly don't worry about dents. They're a bit like Land Rover Defenders. They need to be a bit chipped and dented to make them look like they're used for something other than display.
Secondly, the bad soured taste only comes from putting things like milk into them. Milk doesn't usually go well with aluminium and is best put in plastic. Use them for water and they're so good at keeping it cool. Never had any problems with the metal tainting the water.
All in all, a top quality water bottle.

Took this flask to a festival - it was great that I only had to fill it a couple of times and could hook it onto my bag with a caribina. It is light weight, durable and stays cold for quite a while if you stick it in the fridge before you go out. All you need for a tenner.

I've got 4 of these bottles now for when we are camping and hiking, they are just great, no downsides to them at all really and they hardly weigh a thing!
Essentially a nice piece of design well executed - and the bit about them not leaking is 100% true!
It's worthwhile checking out the protective nylon carry cover / pouches as well just to stop any dinks and dents if the bottle does get dropped, plus they insulate and keep cool drinks cooler for longer - nice on a hot day out!

SIGG Classic Bottle
Just what my niece wanted for her charity trip to the jungles of Borneo! Fantastic colour and very sturdy looking. I hope it will survive the rigours of a jungle trek!

Nice but pricey!
Yeah does the job - although will dent easily. I like the fact its not plastic so the water does taste natural and is healthier for not being stored in a plastic bottle. Read more
