I bought these tips for my SE315 IEMs, and although they look and feel the same as the ones that came with my earphones, there isn't any proper packaging. They just came in a clear little baggy with a Shure leaflet; no real way of telling if genuine or not. For the price I was expecting the actual Shure packaged tips - these ones seem as though they were made up from a larger consignment of tips, which is fine I suppose, but I still feel a little let down. The proper packaged tips also come with the little tool to clean the earphones with, which is missing from this. There is another seller right here on Amazon Shure PA910 Medium Black Foam Sleeves, pack of 10, for Shure SE Earphones
that shows the proper packaged tips in the description page, but I steered clear from it as reviewers for that one complained that you get them in a little baggy without the cleaning tool. Who knows, maybe the Shure packaged ones aren't available any longer.
As for use, I haven't been able to tell if there is a difference in sound/bass with these tips yet as I have a cold at the moment and can't hear properly in one ear. They are okay, but don't go expecting to get the retail packaged tips, as you likely won't. The problem is these tips aren't that easy to source anywhere else, unless you're happy buying from eBay, which I'm not where personal audio is concerned. Only time will tell how well these replacement tips last compared to the ones that came with the IEMs.
