Well another book by J. Parfitt and this appears to be the first from outside the "Maddox" series and I have to say I'm hooked on this author. I keep coming back to check his amazon page for the next new title far to regularly. This is an interesting new title that highlights a new or is it oft overlooked(?) possible direction for todays terrorist threats, it really made me think. Parfitt has obviously gotten to grips with a writing style that he's comfortable with, this book just romps along and shows he's not just a one trick pony with his "Maddox" series. Keep 'em coming.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Proper Thriller 23 Jan. 2013

I really enjoyed Shadow Of Fear. This is the first of Jeffrey Parfitt's books that I have read and I would be keen to read more.

The story is gripping - a real page turner. The characters are well drawn and, at least to this layman, the plot is plausible. Maybe the 'baddies' were a little too irredeemable but that would be a minor quibble.

Well done Mr Parfitt!

This is a gripping story about a potential disaster in Milford Haven. The facts about LNG are accurate so the story is believable.
