Purchased these for my 6-year-old grandson. They were easy to adjust to fit and, even though he had never tried roller skates before, was making good progress by his second day. Wish we had had skates like these 60 years ago!
I have bought these as a Christmas present so they are yet untried, but they are very simple to adjust the sizing and look like they should be comfortable and fairly easy for a child to put on and take off as they work on the same principle as a ski boot. They do seem heavy, but that's to be expected being made of plastic (with padded inner liner) and having 4 solid wheels. I'm sure they will last a great deal longer than the other type for small kids that fit over their shoes and I can't wait for Christmas day!

cool skates
