I can,t believe this book was written by A debut author, the story gripped me from start to finish ( I read it in forty eight hours) The characters of Stone and Mac capture you and the mixture of being transported to beautiful climates with suspense and voodoo was enthralling, and as soon as I finished the book I started the sequel Dead Mans Justice..... Watch this space.

Gregory Stenson is the man to watch! His first book, "The Seventh Island" kept me up for two nights, unable to put it down! Brad Stone is a great character and the action and suspense are jarring! I am reticent to be too descriptive because I don't want to ruin the surprises, but the New York mob and voodoo?! This book can't go wrong and in the skilled hands of Mr. Stenson, it doesn't! Bravo! And thank you for a novel worth reading!

I read this book from cover to cover, I could not believe that this was a debut novel, as I was reading it I thought this could sit a long side books of accomplished authors who had written many many books! Gregory Stenson has written a fast paced story based around one man (a developer) and two women (very beautiful) set in the beautiful Island of Trinidad, this book offers all the twists and turns you hope for when reading a book, the ending was just perfect and left you wanting more from this author, I will certainly be buying the authors next book coming soon I believe. The one thing I loved about this book was that I actually felt as if I had been transported to another country it was so brilliantly descriptive. The characters were so cleverly thought out. Its amazing what a man will do for a beautiful woman... I highly recommend this book, from beginning to end you will not beable to do anything else but keep on turning the pages with great anticipation... unputdownable, clever, intelligent, but most of all leaves you wanting much more...

I have just finished reading this book and I enjoyed the plot very much. Can't wait for this Author's next book. I really enjoyed reading about the island of Trinidad and the story seemed to bring the place to life.

This book has it all, crime, kidnapping, romance, murder. Author Gregory Stenson has written a novel which has so much detail about the Jamaican Islands you can almost smell the sea air as you read it.
Well worth reading, and i would highly recommend it.
