Product Description

Colour Name: H-6: 180m/m: Thin Blade Knife

In Japan, metal forging is appreciated as art, rather than work. The forging of blades is an ancient technique that is still employed today. The process yields stronger products than does metal casting due to the constant beating of the metal. Straight to you from Japan!

very pleased with the knife it turned up well before the estimated delivery date, easy to track using the japan post website, only downside is the fact that the description is the same as the other set of seto knives with the darker handle which states that they have a Damascus blade this is not the case so on opening was a little disappointed although after taking it for its first test run found out it is just as sharp as other Damascus knives I have, its just a test if time now to see if it is able to hold this sharp edge. For the price it is a very good knife and I am very impressed with the service from the company I will definitely be using this company again

was looking for a good but cheap knife for sashimi as my old one has been sharpened too much and is pretty much done. razor sharp out of the box and easy to use. extremely happy with this purchase!

Very sharp blade which has been easy to re profile on some stones. Item let down by very cheap, untreated wooden handle.
For less than £30 posted from Japan, you can't complain. It would be hard to find a blade of this length & sharpness out of the box for this price on the high street.
I use it for the task I don't want to risk my more expensive Japanese Knives on, such as cutting through partially frozen meats, then I get to practice my freehand sharpening on it too.

After a 'set-to' with the Post Office that lasted a couple of weeks, my knives finally arrived. They were worth waiting for, though a tad bigger than I really wanted. None the less, they are very well made with a keen edge, tomatoes can be sliced to transparency. I have fairly large hands (and arthritis) and I find the handles very comfortable to grip. A useful kitchen weapon.

i really love the knife i bought, its super sharp and sexy to look at, however i was a little disappointed when i found out i had too pay a toll fee of 15 gbp for shipping it to Denmark, but still well worth the money. i would definitely recommend this.
