1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting 29 Nov 2012
By Jess
Format:Kindle Edition
I bought this thinking that it would explore the psychology behind women serial killers and be an interesting and thought provoking read.

Unfortunately I was left disappointed. The book is very brief with top line descriptions of several murder cases. Pretty similar to reading a newspaper (without the salacious hype) or like I was reading the police transcript (without the detail) and had no attitudes or anything deeper than matter of fact reporting. Pretty under-whelming and to be honest I found it quite creepy reading the material as it was. I dread to think who it would appeal to in its current form. Definitely a lot of development needed in order to make this an acceptable read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not enough detail 15 Sep 2012

This book is a waste of time. The events are not detailed at all and are almost a perfunctory list of events. This book is like a magazine article. No substance whatever.

2.0 out of 5 stars In need of editing 21 Nov 2012

I'm so thankful that I didn't pay for this book otherwise I would have been bitterly disappointed. I couldn't make it past the first couple of chapters due to the many typos and run-on sentences. It's a shame, as the subject matter is interesting and the author covers a few cases that I haven't heard of before. Unfortunately the errors were just too distracting.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad grammar!! 25 Feb 2013

The grammar in this book is absolutely terrible! Super distracting. Grammatical errors aside, the book is still pretty mediocre. The women chosen were a little boring for my taste.

It could be better. It would have been better if there was a bit more info for each persons crime.

Many women I hadn't heard of before which made the book even better. Some of the grammar made it difficult to understand at times though.

I thought it was interesting and it makes you wonder how messed up there lives had to been to go to these extremes.
