I know the first thing people will notice about this game is the bad graphics (well lets be honest there not that bad, just average) and the repetitive gameplay but once you get past that this is a quite enjoyable little game.

The story is similar but altered to make it more suitable for a game rather than a movie. The voice acting is class, I don't know if they are the actual actors but if not they sound exactly the same to those in the movie.
The controls are solid, this was one of the first games I played on the Wii and I found it very easy to pick up and play and flying around is very very fun especially when you go supersonic. The missions are varied and have some good boss battles. To be honest this is how all super hero games used to be. Start a level, destroy all enemies, find boss, next level. Ok theres no exploration like in Zelda or GTA but for what it is, a fly around blow the hell out of everything and save the girl game it is rather enjoyable.
If you see this at a low price and want a game you can just put on for a quick and fun blast then I recommend. If you want an epic then go buy Zelda.

I bought this by accident, meaning to buy Iron Man 2, so posted this to my son. I have this game already, and have spent some time having fun with it.

I love Iroman, hes a great Super Hero! After getting a copy of Ironman for the Wii, I cannot tell you how much of a disgrace this game is. It (poorly) follows the story of the film, without explaining key plot points and making epic movie sequences look like a joke. Thats not the start of it. Ironman on Wii is a sloppy, boring cash in on a good super hero film. Flying controls are unbearable, and graphics are just unexceptable. Shooting rarely requires any tactics, just straif, fire, straif, fire, straif, fire, straif, fire etc... bosses are stupid, and normally a push over. Voice acting isnt terrible, with voices played by some of the movie cast. However, same cannot be said for the facial expressions, that are just awkward. When your suit loses power, you are treated to a repettive button bashing minigame were getting the combo right will result in the suit powering up again. This is tedious. Maybe some little kids might like it, but bad luck. Its full of curses and swears that make this games only audience this might apeal to out of the question. On the bright side, it does have tons of unlockable content, with diffeent suits you cn use in the few levels there is, but the god-awful AI, graphics, controls and gameplay is just unexceptible. One of the worst games on Wii. Sorry Ironman fans.

firstly many people complained about the c.g.i. quality of this game when it came out, but in all honesty i cant see their problem because i played games on the Nintendo 64 so every game i play looks great anyway!
+ great for fans of the film and comics
+ the game has you flying around shooting enemy's then traveling on foot (or hovering if you prefer)
+ old favorite bad guys return `the controller, titanium man, a.i.m., iron monger, Whitney stane, helicarrier, ma`gia
+ many weapons, story boards to unlock
- game is a bit short but it is a film game so that's to be expected

In Iron Man the videogame it is possible to fly around shoot enemies. Before the mission choose which armor you would like to use. You may choose either Mark I, Mark II or mark III and also unlock three other armors e.g tin can comic book.

I got this game for my birthday and you know what M.Bates your wrong because this game has perfect graphics you can upgrade his weapons, armour, flying speed and extras. I like da fact that in the first level it has the cool iron man music but it only has it in da first level, u can even choose what iron man suit your gonna wear including da cartoon suit. The only thing i don't like about it is u don't get to mess around in his cool house.
U can trust Ibby (me) and I say BUY IT

Got the game for my son but after playing it for a couple of hours started to get bored, It is very repetitive and the graphics are pretty poor compared to other games.i know it is all about game play but if it looked better it might give you the appeal to carry on playing.i would recommend trying it out or checking some video clips on line before buying.overall to me it looks like a rush job to get it in shops only to make money off the film.
