I needed a helmet with ear defenders to use with my petrol strimmer, so went for this one. It's not the best safety helmet I've ever used, but for £12.99, what can you really expect?
The mesh face guard is great, protects against all debris. The ear defenders, however, are rather rubbish. They don't have the facility to flip out from the helmet, and must be slid over ears rather than clipped. They also don't fit very well, which kind of defeats the purpose!

Amazon Verified Purchase
After reading all of the glowing reviews for this product I decided that I should give it a go. It is total rubbish. The chin strap keeps pinging off and hitting me in the face, the ear defenders come off it you try and adjust them, I haven't tried to adjust the face screen for fear of damaging my eyesight. Please do not use this if you are chopping down a tree. I don't think it should be marketed as a safety helmet. Perhaps it is ok for use with a strimmer but not for anything where you need head protection. Even then, a face screen and ear defenders would be a better solution.

This is a good cheap helmet that arrived fully assembled. Reasonable sound reduction and a very nice mesh face guard. Only downside is its difficult to put the ear defenders out of the way when you dont need them - but I guess you'd take the whole thing off.

Just the job.
Perfect safety helmet for occasional use. Face guard clips on easily and easily cleaned. Good fitting ear protectors. Easily adjusted helmet size. Just the job.

Pleasant to use
The instructions could be better - it took age to work out how to mount the earmuffs and in the end needed my dyslexic 12 year old son to use his 3D skills to work it out! Read more
