I had a week of using my Xoom before this case arrived and so became used to working with just the tablet. While the case is well made it is bulky and it makes holding the Xoom, which is not the lightest of tablets, somewhat more onerous. Here's a quick run down of positives and negatives:

Positives:
Well made, with good stitching and quality "leather."
Very useful stand to aid typing and viewing when sitting at a desk.
Offers sturdy protection of case and screen.
Access holes in the case for speakers, cameras and ports do line up, mostly.
Good value for money.

Negatives:
If you want to charge the Xoom and close the case you can't. The power port is adjacent to the spine and so it's impossible to charge and secure the tablet.
I cannot see anyone sticking their bank cards in the 6 slots on the inner front flap, especially as when you configure the case to be a stand, these are then placed face down whatever surface you are resting it on. As a tablet is a desirable item and easily portable, why add to it's value by keeping your cards with it?
There is retaining velcro flap used to tuck around the lower edge of the tablet to prevent it slipping down when angled on the stand which is rather fiddly to secure and undo. This slows down fitting and removing the tablet from the case.
The case adds to the bulk and weight of the tablet. When using it in bed, I prefer to remove the case completely.

I suspect I might be happier with a sleeve but I'd then loose the most useful function, which is the stand, and a sleeve may not provide as much protection, although it would be far quicker to access the Xoom in its natural state. I'd consider how and where you want to use your tablet before deciding on any case. This one is good despite the negatives.

This case is excellent for the money. At first i was a little concerned as some reviewers say that it doesn't fit properly and specifically that it covers the cameras, well rest assured these are incorrect reviews as it fits perfectly and i tested both front and rear camera's and found that they are not even slightly obscured... i have to wonder to myself if perhaps some people have been trying to put a xoom in the case instead of the xoom 2 as the cameras are in different places on the two models, or maybe some have tried to put the xoom 2 media edition which is slightly smaller than the normal xoom 2 and thus won't fit correctly. This case does fit the xoom 2 perfectly. The only mildly annoying thing is that you can't charge it with the case closed but for me this isn't an issue as i follow modern guidelines for li-on batteries and keep my tablet on charge as much as possible when i am using it at home and therefore don't really need to be able to close the case when charging. As with other reviewers i find the case well made and attractive the stand could be stronger but that would prob add unecessary bulk to it and i am happy with the case as it is :-) and am now confident of putting my xoom in abag or whatever and carying it around with me which i was woried to do when uncased.
all in all i took a gamble on one of the cheapest cases i could find and am very happy to say it paid off would definately recomend. Also aroved very quickly from seller so yea :-) happy days.

Great and cheap cover. A friend working for Motorola saw it and was surprised about the quality and the careful design to allow access to all the connectivity, buttons, camera and speaker

I can not understand why makers of expensive portable gadgets never supply a decent carrying case to go with them. Fortunately the Tabletwear case fits the bill nicely for the Motorola Xoom, and at a reasonable price too. Magic piece of kit...

I did quite a bit of research on Xoom cases and I opted for this one in the end, mainly it had good reviews and also the downside of the genuine XOOM folio case which can scratch the Xoom (check out YouTube and forums).

Anyway, I am happy chappy. For starters it feels robust and looks very nice. It isn't leather but looks just as good, I doubt anyone would notice that from a distance. The stand and clip to close it are of great quality and magnetic so when not in use it just closes away securely.

I had it in the standing position which is adjustable and even though I put force on it it is very secure.

I haven't done a drop test, but I would say that it would survive a light fall for example off a table or a slip from the hand. I doubt it would survive from 10-15 stories.

For this price it is better and cheaper than the genuine folio case. Looks like a luxury folio case and feels nice in the hand while using and reading. I have noticed people look at it when I use the Xoom on the tube. But, it does look very nice and is very functional.

It would be nice if they had it in various colours as my wife doesn't like the black case as it looks like a work item. But, I have no issue with the colour. It does everything I want for a case and the Xoom has a good snugg fit. All the ports are open, but like all cases the power and hdmi is concealed if i close the case. Not really a big issue, but I can see that the whole point is to make it look like a folio case and unobtrusive. I usually just fold it the other way and put it for charge.

Thoroughly reccommend it for the Xoom, you'll be hard fetched to find something just as good.
