The case I received was not the one the seller had advertised but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as they have the cheapest case on Amazon and it does it's job.
The installation instructions are in French so they aren't much help but it's not rocket science fitting the hard drive. There were 2 bits of clear plastic that I wasn't sure whether I should remove before I installed my hard drive but I kept them in there.
The only bad point was the case was missing 2 screws. However it stays together fine and as I will be rarely using it, I don't mind. I gave it 3 stars as 1. It's missing 2 screws & 2. It's not the enclosure pictured.
I've added pictures of the "actual" hard drive enclosure.

..it does axactly what it says on the tin.
I had a spare 40GB SATA drive from my PS3 lying around doing nothing. I wanted to make use of it as a portable media drive and this caddy was perfect. It doesnt look cheap, feels sturdy and installation of the drive is easy. It's usually still cheaper to buy a pre built portable drive rather than buying the components seperately but this is ideal is you have a disk unused.

This caddy is ideal if you have a 2.5" SATA internal hard drive spare in the house.
It really helped me free up much needed space on the computer and now, the newly created hard drive is being used as a media hub for the family music, photos and videos.
Installation was very simple taking no more than 5-10 minutes to fit the hard drive. Everything is provided in the box (screwdriver, screws you name it) even a velvety sock to protect it when you are travelling with it.
If your planning on formatting the hard drive in FAT32 and your using Vista, you might run into a problem that won't allow the drive to be formatted in FAT32. This is a very minor criticism though as it requires (after a quick search on google) the "HP USB Disk Storage Format tool".

This enclosure is sturdy, well made and sleek and has everything you need to carry the job off correctly. I found it to be very simple to operate and extremely good value.

Its not for Toshiba MX5055GSX

Got it working after a bit of fiddling
At first my laptop recognised it as a recordable DVD drive and wanted me to compile disk images before them writing to it, and if I remember rightly writing to it didn't work. Read more

Good value for money.
Simple and effective. A little effort required to push the connector into the drive but I'm happy with this bit of kit.

If it was only slightly wider so it could take some rubber spacers to absorb any shocks. Other wise quite OK.
