If anyone has got problems installing this drive (drive not found/present), try to place a jumper across pins 5&6. This will force the drive into SATA I mode and should solve the most problems. Some controllers on older motherboards can't handle the automatic selection between SATA I and SATA II, hence it seems the drive is not there. The jumper forces the drive into SATA I mode and solves the selection problem. I hope this will help anyone having problems with the install of this drive.
