Good book but not for the ones that want to go way back...

The book was very helpfull, but I am no math wiz and the book seemed to go over some of the basics but could have gone over a little more. I have been out of school for sometime now and I wanted to brush up on some math before taking the SATs and this book in combination with Math for Dummies worked out perfect for me. I never took anything higher than Algebra in school so with the two books I was able to teach myself the basics on Geometry and some Pre-Cal so it worked out pretty good. Got a nice score...I would have bomb the test without it. If you been out of school for a while I would use both books but if you are fresh out of school or have a good grasp on the basics you can probably get by with just this book.
