I find this the best SAP PS book currently available. It covers all of the logistic flows giving easy to use information for enduser as well as sap professional.
The scenario part gives interresting views on implementing SAP PS for those that have been in the job for years and can help newbies to find their way through workshops and customer presentations.
The greatest asset of this book is the flawless integration of written explanation and technical customization information (including custo transactions), making it an easy to understand, complete and must-have asset to all of us playing around in the project system.

Not very helpful 6 Dec 2011

Format:Paperback
Very general, does not go into much detail (even though the back cover says 'in-depth info / comprehensive)- not helpful if you want to learn how to use the PS system on a day-to-day basis (for example book tells you that you can set up a template for projects but then doesn't show you how !).
Only good as a general reference book.

The book is useful if you want a short overlook over the PS Module capabilities and integration possibilities.

Without a System connection, Customizing views could help, but unfortunately the pages do not recall the main activities.
