Beware... 27 Sep 2009

Well, the picture looks like a genuine SanDisk adapter, but what I received was stamped with NewDisk on the body of the adapter and had a white label that bore no resemblance to the one in the picture. I sent some pictures of it to SanDisk and they told me it was definitely NOT a SanDisk product, and that I should ask for a refund. Amazon are, rather strangely, refusing to accept that it is a fake. Who would you believe?

I bought the adapter to go into a 2007 Honda CR-V which has the PC Card slot in the stereo - works very well with a Sandisk 4GB compact flash card and have had no problems....yet!

After reading lots of reviews and horror stories about which type of adaptor would work in my 2007 CRV, I finally plumped for this one. Great news. It worked fine first time. I used it with a 4GB sandisk extreme iii compact flash card.
