Ok so i got this coz there was pretty much nothing else available at the time, was cheap and it came very fast in the post, fits the phone well and looks pretty nice.
But mine is pretty hard and its almost impossible to use the on/off and volume buttons, i dont bother attempting to use the volume buttons any more, and i have to dig my nail in to switch off my phone, i'm currently looking for something more usable.

Got this case after trialling a number of other solutions, I tried one of those clip-together cases, but they don't fit and a had a PU-leather flip down case, which I found to be too bulky.
This case is a happy medium, it gives reassurance that your lovely galaxy S is protected from knocks, but doesn't compromise too much on its size - it is already rather hefty after all. I barely notice this case anymore, and it gives a nice grippyness to the phone too - I'm not longer perennially afraid of dropping my phone now! Also, I was very glad it didn't have the horrible stickyness of those silicon cases. Some have remarked that it makes the side buttons rather hard to press - I have detracted one star for this as it would have been nice to have cutouts here, however I found that once you're used to applying a bit more force the volume rocker isn't too hard to operate, but since the power button is used all the time it should really be easier to use. i tried making my own cutout for the power button, and it sort-of works, although it turns out that the case is rather thicker than I thought, but then I widened the cut-out and now even my rather large digits have no trouble in operating the power button with one hand. In all, very happy and would definitely recommend!

nice quality and texture, fits well, cutouts are in the right place, thin light.
only the areas for the volume and the power button are a little hard to press with the case on. It could also be a little tighter and wrap around a bit more to have a more snug fit, as it is you can pop it off too easily, but for the price it's a great buy.
