I bought this as my Nokia had become a bit scratched and scruffy looking. Didn't want anything 'gadgety', just a phone to make and receive calls. Sick of being told I 'must have an i-phone' or some other fancy, expensive, ridiculously complicated piece of technology that if you don't own, you're out of touch! This Samsung 'Cobble' is just the cutest thing; nice easy to see screen, buttons not too small, has an alarm and the standard options for a basic phone. Found a nice ring tone, nothing I'd be embarrassed about if it rang while I'm on a bus! And it's pink...my favourite colour! Small, light, easy to use...there's nothing I don't like about it!
Edited on Oct 17th. Whilst I haven't changed my opinion about the appearance and ease-of-use of this phone, unfortunately I do have issues with the sound quality. Having been told on numerous occasions that people either couldn't hear me or my voice was breaking up during conversations, I had to switch back to using my old Nokia. No sound issues with that, so I have to conclude it's the Samsung that isn't quite up to scratch. Shame as it's lovely looking but sadly appearance isn't everything. I guess you get what you pay for!

I bought this for my wife, she just wanted a cheap phone. I was very suprised by the quality and design of it. This phone it nice to hold, easy to use and reliable. If you want a cheap, reliable basic phone it is a sure thing! well done Samsung!!

This little and beautiful mobile phone is the best option for all who want what mobile are for; phoning and writting short messages, nothing else; all I needed and all I wanted, saving a lot of money in futile and accidental internet conections, sending not intentional messages and phoning from my purse with not practical tactile-sensitive-screens which unlocked the digital keyboard frequently. With this little pink wonder, as I said, you save a lot of money and you have all the basic services, and the battery is very long-lasting. You can place it in any pockett, even a small one, and it's littler than a cigarrette-package. Very good option, even if you want to have it as your second mobile just in case you cannot charge batteries, you will have an excellent complement for your main mobile.
Includes a discrete poliphonic melody, from samsung theme, and a screen saver (in my case a road which ends in the horizon); just a melody and just a picture, nothing else, but it has a huge memory for the agenda (names and phones number, over 400 entrances).
Ideal for nostalgics who want to return to basic mobiles and for people who don't want to lose money in nosenses.
I bought it unlocked (well, I had to unlocked it myself but seller gave me a courteous service and more than satisfactory solution) and in very good conditions, as new; my unique concern is I have to cheat the English dictionary on messages for sending any text to Spain and I had to buy an adapter for plug connection (3 pin plug for UK vs. 2 pin plug for Spain)
I highly recommend this practical beauty.
