i bought this tv a few days ago now and have tested it out with a number of different sources with different results. this set looks absolutly fantastic when running HD. my xbox 360 and SKY HD all have very clear sharp images and i cannot find fault with this at all. the picture on standard def on the other hand isnt great! because this tv is 1080P it struggles with regular dvd images through scart and SKY on non HD channels. however this is no worse than any of its 1080p rivals. other than this the sound is fantastic if not a little low compared to rival sets. it also looks great. all in all i would definatly recomend this set to anyone just beware that the standard def images arnt that hot.

This TV is like one of those films that you watch once and think, that's ok but when you watch it a second and third time the genius starts to make itself known. Having gone onto various forums to obtain optimum settings for the myriad of options that you have, I am getting there (purchased TV last week). It's like it is beginning to settle down and be more comfortable with itself. Styling is first class of course. Pixelation, a bug bear of all LCD TV's, started as marked and has now gone to being virtually unnoticed. DVD reproduction is stunning, even DIVx playback (via the HT 35 TX Samsung Home Theatre that I also bought) is, whilst not spin sharp of course, still very impressive. I thought long and hard about whether to get this M series or the smaller (100htz but not 1080p) 32 inch. I am glad I went with the 37 as it has a commanding, yet not overpowering presence in my fairly normal sized living room (15 by 12). Movie Plus mode is excellent. Buy this TV with confidence, invest time in getting the picture right and you will be rewarded. Stunning.
