The alarm system is very easy to set up and configure (it even comes with a DVD tutorial for each section which can be handy if you like to see a visual guide to what you're doing).

I installed this alarm system for a friend in just over an hour! The instructions supplied were really clear and it came with a DVD giving an overview of the installation. No messy wires and really simple to operate off the remote control.

If all you want is a relaible, simple and effective alarm system to protect a building without the hassle of wires or a degrees in electronics to fit it, this one will do. Unlike others buyers it took me more than an hour to put it together, more like 2, but then due to past diy disasters I actually read the manual and watched the dvd several times before going at it for real! The only fly in the ointment was that somehow the tamper switch hadn't been bent into the correct shape (apparently a banana ;-)). However a quick call to one of Friedlands technicians, who by his manner I think had worked for NASA, had that sorted. Not one false alarm since install.

Would not hold charge
I bought this item about 4 months ago. Followed the instructions to the letter, but after 6 days, the small back up battery failed, and the main 6v solar charged battery would not... Read more
