Sue Rule has been writing since the age of 7. She claims she kept trying to give it up, but it wouldn't let her, so she decided to share her writings with a reading public instead. There are many fans of Shehaios out there now who are very glad she made this decision!

Sue has spent thirty years (with some interruptions) creating the gripping and original fantasy series "Shaihen Heritage". She finally published the first book in the series, Cloak of Magic, in 2006. The series grows out of Sue's love of history and folklore, and tracks the fictional history of an imagined world which is not unlike our own. One or two little accidents of evolutionary history make all the difference - there are dragons in the mountains, and in every generation of the Shaihen people there is one individual with the gifts of a Magician.

Book 2 Staff of Power was published in 2009 and the first trilogy in the series is completed by Spirit of Shehaios, to be published in 2010.

Sue is currently working on a series of stories set in another era of Shaihen history.
