Having sent the first one back as it had many parts missing as it was obviously despatched by mistake, amazon cutomer service were excellent and despatched a brand new unopened brush cutter with no problems. Have used the brush cutter a couple of times now and found it to be a quality piece of equipment although i am still strugling with the touch start need a bit more practice i think, would have no problem recommending this product, again execellent customer service from amazon well done.

The first one we received from Amazon ceased up after half an hour of use.
The second one would not start - we tried every way and with a full charge of the battery over several days - with and witout choke and with various ammounts of priming but not a hint of it firing up so it too went back!
We gave it one more chance and the third machine started without too much trouble and has now been used for several hours. When it works, it works well.
We have used the strimmer and hedge curtting attachment.

I bought the Touch Start Brushcutter with a view to "wreeking havoc" with the weeds in my horse field. Although it was not solely brought for that purpose, it has taken the Docks, Nettles, Creeping Thistle down to nothing with complete ease.
Although the instructions weren't all that clear (needs more detail in the drawings and instuctions) with regard to the change of "heads". It fired up first time with the push of a button. Demolished the weeds in just over an hour which would have taken me a couple of days to do it by hand, and, saved my back of which I'm entirely grateful.

touch start cutter
Ryobi 30 cc Touch Start Brush Cutter I bought this as I have arthritis and could not manage the pull start on my old strimmer. I wish I had got it years ago. It's fantastic.
