Product Description

Product Description

The 18V ONE+ System introduces the next generation in cordless convenience. This new 18 gauge brad nailer features AirStrike Technology, which eliminates the need for noisy compressors, bulky hoses or expensive gas cartridges. This means faster setup and easier maneuvering around the home. Tackle virtually any job, anywhere with the capacity to drive up to 1,600 nails per charge using the new and improved Lithium+ 4.0Ah battery (RB18L40). The new Ryobi 18V Nailer gives the user the flexibility to suit all tasks. In contact actuated (bump) mode the user has speed for quick task completion, with a rate of up to 60 nails fired per minute. Alternatively, in full sequential actuation mode the 18V nailer offers precision placement. And the innovation doesn't stop there….Griplight technology engages an LED when the handle is grasped, ensuring a well illuminated work area, this also flashes when your battery is running out of charge. Whilst tool-less depth of drive adjustment helps protect the work surface and allow accurate setting of nail heads. The convenient adjustment dial regulates air pressure for optimum results, and the Dry-Fire lockout feature extends tool life. The tool-less jam release ensures easy removal of clear nails and the low nail indicator enables the user to see quickly and easily when it's time to re-load. On top of this the handy attachable belt hook means you can always have your nailer to hand, ready to go. And if all of that is not enough, the 18V Nailer is part of the ONE+ System, meaning all 18V ONE+ batteries are compatible with this product and over 30 other garden and power tools. So what are you waiting for - join the ONE+ revolution today. Looking for batteries? Try our RBC18L15, part of our Lithium+ range with improved tool performance, longer battery life, and an on board fuel gauge. Batteries sold separately

I bought this a few months ago from Home Depot while in the US. It cost me $133 including taxes, much cheaper than Amazon's £211.
I've used it a number of times and I must say I was impressed with the product. It's a lot lighter than the Dewalt brad gun. The depth & power adjustments work well. It will fire 50mm / 2" 18 gauge brads into softwood no problem.
The only problem I have with the tool is that it does jam a lot. Over all it's good value for money and the fact it's part of the Ryobi One+ system is a huge bonus as I have a number of other One+ tools.

Wife ordered this for me on special and thought she was doing me a favour but the thing gave up after a short time and caused no end of frustration and wasted costs to the extent that I had to quickly go out and buy something which worked properly. I agree with the other reviewers who say this thing is over priced and pretty shoddy made as well. Didn't manage to open the front clip despite putting a lot of pressure on it with a long screwdriver.

This brad gun is very much for the DIY user as it won't stand up to any prolonged use and the overall quality is pretty poor. Unfortunately the price is of a professional tool so there will be many returns just as I decided to return my one to a local dealer. The firing action is also quite slow which becomes frustrating when there are hundreds of nails to put in such on the recent shed job with miles of tongue and groove to secure, windows to glaze and other bits. I would therefore not recommend this tool and am very interested to understand how Ryobi can justify the price.

This is a very expensive tool when you see the poor build quality and i sent mine back after a couple of weeks when i realised it wasn't going to last very long at all . This is my second bad experience with Ryobi having bought a strimmer which was little more than a toy and again i had to return it when it broke on the second day of use .
