The Ryobi CDI18022 is a high powered 2-speed drill driver that runs on 18 volt (1.2 Ah) Li-Ion batteries. This lightweight combi drill will ensure maximum control on all work applications from wood work to general brick and masonry applications.
The Ryobi CDI18022 has a fitted 13mm keyless chuck, which will give you a good strong grip on drill or screwdriver bits so they will not turn around in the chuck on difficult drilling applications. This also helps for quick and easy bit changes, even with one hand.
With the variable speed /reverse and 24 adjustable torque setting dial, you will get a good, even pressure on delicate work pieces with that professional look. There is also a quick- stop feature brake for total control.
Unlike some combi drills in this class, the Ryobi CDI18022 has the added feature of soft grip overmould casing and trigger. This will give the user a better grip and will help reduce vibration and user fatigue in prolonged use. There are 2 x 18-volt 1.2 Ah Li-Ion batteries supplied with this Ryobi drill driver and a charger that has a 45-minute charge time. This will give you all the power you need to complete the job in hand before you need a re-charge.

What more do we need to say. It has proved a worthwhile purchase and is smaller
in size to the big drills we have bought in the past but its performance is as good as and probably much better. A sturdy hammer drill - you will not be disappointed if you buy this Ryobi model.

Bought this based on spec and other reviews, and not disappointed at all. Well made, powerful and loss of torque. Lithium batteries are light and fast charging, not the highest capacity available but offset by fast charge time. Sturdy build, good feel. Nice to have a separate selector for drill hammer and drive rather than all on the torque setting ring as is often the case. Built in spirit level doesn't seem to be mentioned in description but is dead useful. Magnetic screw storage on base of handle is a nice touch. All in all well worth the money.
